APS Films was founded by Edwin Stevens in November of 2016. The company was created in memory of Alice Pendleton Stevens, Edwin's younger sister, who was senselessly murdered outside of her home in November of 2013.

In an effort to draw some positive inspiration from this tragedy, Edwin decided to take his dream of creating films into his own hands in an attempt to live for today because we never know when our final day may be.

 

Alice was complimentary and outwardly proud of her brother's accomplishments in the film world prior to her death, and this company is an attempt to keep her proud long past her living years.
